Dorset Charity Horse and Dog Show

Ridgeway Rider are sponsoring the Dorset Charity Horse and Dog Show this year. A fun family day out is set to be had by all.

Saturday 17th July welcomes the return of the annual Dorset Charity Horse and Dog Show, run on behalf of the Wimborne and Ferndown Lions, at Homelands Farm, Three Legged Cross, Nr. Wimborne, Dorset BH21 6QZ.

The 2009 show had over 480 horses taking part, as well as some 400 dogs. The profit of £3,600 was split equally between the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance and Poole Hospital Special Baby Care Unit.

The 2010 show promises to be as enjoyable and exciting as last year, Spanish and Portuguese Horses, Show Jumping and Dressage have remained a feature of the show, as well as many other entertainment activities taking place in the main ring for all the public to enjoy.

All profit’s from show this year will be split between Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance and ‘Julia’s House’. Qualifying classes for 2010include The Cherif Championships, IMPS, Chaps (UK) Irish Draught Horse and Ponies UK.

With over 65 Ridden and In Hand classes, the 2010 show promises to be a fun packed day for horses and riders alike.
